Harvest Festival 2019

We have completed our first poster with 300 stickers from Aldi and are looking foward to receiving some new sports equipment.

Festival of Youth Sport. The girls took part in the football tournament. They played really well and enjoyed the day despite the rain. They played four matches in their mini league and went through to the 'plate' semi finals. They won 3-0 and then went on to play in the final. The match finished 0-0 and St Anne's won on penalties! A huge well done to all the girls and a big thank you to everyone who supported us on the day.

Thursday 24th May - We have had another brilliant day and the sun has shone for us. Our camp fire entertainment was much improved this year with each colour group preparing and performing a song! Mrs Page’s orange group were voted the best by the children with their rendition of ‘Moose Alpaca’. Certificates were awarded to children for different qualities they have shown, some of which have kept us amused! We had a birthday celebration when we returned for Jasmine and gave out letters from home. We are looking forward to cleaning out the drying room and getting sleeping bags back in their original cases! We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow, traffic permitting!

Wednesday 22nd May - Another lovely sunny day at Heatree. Take a look at all the things we have been up to! This evening we walked to the post box and posted our postcards home, hopefully they will arrive home before the end of the year! It was nice to go for a walk and explore the local area. An extra element of fun was added with the traditional Heatree peg game! Sausage, chips and beans went down well at tea time especially when followed by sticky toffee pudding and toffee sauce.

Heatree House - Tuesday 21st May. Hello everyone from deepest sunniest Dartmoor, Tuesday was a fantastic day both weather and activity wise. Groups enjoyed a range of wonderful outdoor learning opportunities including Kayaking (including the famous jumping in competition), archery, bush craft (with melted marshmallows on the menu) and wilderness adventure where a giant game of hide and seek and rock scrambling were the order of the day. The day finished with tired but happy campers playing a range of outside games and crafts. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings- more sunshine hopefully.

Year 6 at Heatree House - Monday 20th May 2019. Had a good journey to Heatree and rain holding off so far! Enjoyed team quest activities when we got here. The children enjoyed playing football and games this evening and some went on a local walk. The children enjoyed lasagne, garlic bread and salad for tea, along with apple crumble and custard.
