Today you will be using the information your found yesterday to make and record notes, ready to use in your writing tomorrow.
- Watch today's presentation and check the 'I do' for how to make your notes.
- Choose which pre-historic animal you will write about (you only need one).
- Use your research and make your own notes.
- You must use the spellings from your gathered information.
Thursday 14th January
WALT: Write a non-chronological report.
Today you will write your own report about your chosen pre-historic animal.
You will need to:
- Watch the lesson presentation.
- Choose technical language that you can use for your writing.
- Read the model write and see if you could 'magpie' any ideas.
- Write your own non-chronological report about prehistoric beasts.
- Share your amazing work with your teacher!
Friday 15th January
WALT: To edit and improve work
Today you will need to:
- Read the presentation.
- See how I have edited and improved my work.
- Then, reread your work and begin to edit and improve your own.
- We can't wait to see the finished pieces!
