Lesson 2 - Find equivalent fractions to percentages

https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/class-clips-video/maths-ks2-decimal-dance-off-2-fractions-decimals-and-percentages/zk9ygwx Work on fluency questions and then use it and prove it at your preferred level of challenge (developing, expected or greater depth). Mark your answers as you go.

Within the resources folders below, you will find a variety of tasks and information. Please do not feel that these all need to be printed as not all work is appropriate for each child.

Files with VF - these are the fluency or 'Try it' level tasks that the children normally begin with.  They are broken into developing, expected and greater depth tasks.

Files with RPS - these are the reasoning and problem solving or 'Use it' and 'Prove it' level tasks that the children are often able to move onto independently if/when they are feeling confident with a skill. They are also broken into developing, expected and greater depth tasks.

The PowerPoint is only for additional practice and examples. It does contain answers as well. This is more of a teaching tool and therefore may not be necessarily be needed.

Files with DP - these are extension Discussion Problems and can sometimes prove to be quite tricky! There are also extension questions on the teacher slides that children who are feeling extremely confident may be able to access and thoroughly explain.
