Welcome to Year 3!

Welcome to the webpage for classes 7 and 8.

Hello Year 3!

On this page you will find the home learning activities for you to complete during our school closure. These will be uploaded each week. The activities link to the learning that we would have been doing in class. Where you have a choice of activity, please choose an appropriate level for you and don't forget to challenge yourself!

We also have attached presentations for Maths, English and SPAG to guide you through the learning, these are also saved as PDF files in case you unable to access PowerPoint.

If you have any questions or comments please get in touch with us via the school email address (office@stannesprimaryschool.org.uk). We would love to see your fabulous work or hear about how you are getting on at home, so please email any super work or messages to us! smiley

We really hope we will see you all soon and you're staying well.

Transition activities!

Hi year three, well what an unusual year it has been! We have loved watching you grow from afar. As we get closer to the end of the summer term we are thinking about what will happen next year. We have lots of activities coming your way. If you have any questions we would love to hear them and we will try and answer them as best as we can.

Take care,

Miss Gorvin and Miss Karon

Hello Year 3!

We hope you have enjoyed your home learning tasks this term. As we approach half-term, we thought we would challenge you to complete a  holiday project linked to our current school theme superheroes! There are many activities for you to choose from, and you are more than welcome to work alongside your families to complete them. We hope you enjoy them. Remember to have lots of fun and send us any of the projects you complete. We can't wait to see them!

Enjoy your half term! :)

From Miss Karon and Miss Gorvin

18th- 24th May is mental health awareness week this year.

We thought it would be a great opportunity to share some ideas to engage in this! We hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

Glitter jar!

Shake the glitter jar or bottle whenever you feel anxious or upset and remain still as the glitter sets, thinking about your breathing.
Think about how your thoughts can become a bit like the glitter. Sometimes, when we're worried we can feel overwhelmed with thoughts but as we sit calmly and focus on one thing these can settle down just like the glitter when it falls to the bottom of the glass.
