This week your child will be given their Times Tables Rock Stars login and password. They will bring home a letter explaining how to log on if you haven't before. It will include their username and password. Please can all children bring in their reading records on Friday as we will also stick their username and pin code into the front cover. If your child does not have a reading record please let us know.
I have attached a document below outlining some of the common question we typically answer. However, if you have a question please feel free to discuss this with us after school.
We do not expect the children to feel confident with their times tables yet. We will teach multiplication and division in term 2 and will use TTRS more then. For now, please give your children the opportunity to use it to become familiar with the site and to set up their account. From this week we are also introducing it into our arithmetic sessions. We have shown the children how to use the 'Jamming' session where they can choose to answer multiplication questions only for the 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
