Welcome to Year 3

We hope that you have all enjoyed the summer holiday with your family and friends and are excited for the new year ahead as part of Key Stage 2. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you back on Tuesday. It will be great to find out what you have been doing over the summer and to continue getting to know each other. Please ensure water bottles, lunch boxes, book bags, jumpers, cardigans and coats are all clearly named so that they can easily be returned to their owners.

Essential Information for Term 1

PE Days 

Please can you ensure that your child comes to school in the correct PE kit (no football kits, bright clothing, branded sports wear) with long hair tied back and earrings removed. Please can tape be provided if your child cannot remove their own earrings. 

Class 7 Wednesday afternoon

Swimming

Year 3 has Swimming in Term 1. (The first session for Y3 will be Tuesday 10th September)

Please can you ensure that your child comes to school with a swimming costume, a towel and no earrings. Please contact the office or send a note if your child is unable to swim.

Forest School 

Class 7 - Term 1 on Tuesday 8th, 15th & 22nd October  and Term 2 Tuesday 5th November

Class 8 - Term 1 on Thursday 10th, 17th & 24th October and Term 2 Thursday 7th November  

Please ensure your child has appropriate outdoor clothing & footwear. Long sleeves & no shorts please.
