Times Tables Rock Stars
Times Tables Rock Stars is a fun and effective way for our children to learn and become fluent in their times tables using online adaptive games. The programme cements the children’s conceptual understanding of both multiplication and division and the relationships between each table. Rapid recall of tables and related division facts helps to cut thinking time and improves the children’s confidence, allowing them to answer more complex maths problems.
The children love it and often don’t even realise they are learning! The online games and rock star avatars are designed to motivate pupils to play, recalling the tables’ facts rapidly in order to move up the rock leader board from a New Artist to a Rock Hero.
