Higher Level Teaching Assistants

 

Hours: 25 Hours per week, term time only (To be timetabled Monday to Friday 8.45am until 3.30pm)

Salary: Hay 8 (£15,038 – 16,589 per annum)

These posts are fixed term until 31st August 2021 subject to Catch up funding.

We are looking to appoint two committed, talented and enthusiastic HLTA’s to join our team at St Anne’s CE VC Primary School.

You will be working under the guidance of teachers to deliver high quality PPA cover across the school, provide short term classroom cover, as well as delivering intervention to individuals and small groups.

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody to grow and develop with the chance to support children in accessing an engaging curriculum.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Assist in preparing the classroom, and maintaining the learning resources and environment

• Assist in planning activities and preparing materials to help the children access the curriculum

Lead and support class, group and individual activities, indoors and outdoors, including during teachers PPA time

• Assist in monitoring children's progress, assessing achievement and recording results and observations, sharing outcomes with the class teacher

Reading Assistants

 

25 hours per week.  Monday – Friday 9.15am to 3.15pm each day with one hour unpaid lunch break

Fixed term contracts to 31st August 2020 to support pupil reading recovery.

Salary: Hay 14    £10,080 per annum

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, friendly and trustworthy individuals to join our hard working and dedicated team of support staff.

At St Anne’s we know how valuable reading is and the impact it can have on a child’s confidence and progress in all subject areas

You will work with one year group to support pupils individually to acquire reading skills that will contribute to their overall literacy development. You will help to inspire a lifelong love for reading and assess the reading levels for each child.

There may also be an occasional requirement to assist with meeting the welfare and/or personal needs of pupils.
